A Marketing Dilemma
Our friends at IPS tell us that their pay by credit card meters are popping up everywhere in commercials and on TV programs. It's probably because they have just installed 10,000 of the critters in LA plus a bunch in Beverly Hills and you where movies and commercials are shot. Andy had a question about the two pictures below. The top one is from a Bank of America commercial and the bottom for State Farm Insurance. Which one do you think is the more memorable? OK that's easy. Second –in which one do you remember seeing the IPS meter? Yeah – I think that's pretty easy, too.
I've seen that insurance commercial 25 times and never remember seeing that meter! That's weird....
