The secret is out – women really do admire the way male drivers park ... according to a December survey by Halfords, a UK automotive parts supplier.
"Almost one in two women confessed the thing they most loved about male drivers was that they knew how to change a flat tyre or what to do if the car broke down," notes a statement by Halfords about the survey. "The second best thing about men behind the wheel was “how they park in tight spaces” (41%), closely followed by their skill at maneuvering and reversing (39%)."
The survey also found that mens' biggest objection (40%) to women drivers is the time they take to manoeuvre in or out of a parking space.
The company conducted the survey to see if stereotypes still exist between men and women drivers, amid evidence that women are increasingly taking control of the family cars.
What are men most impressed about women drivers? The way women remember to take food on journeys.
